The staff at Manheim Canada couldnt have asked for a better day to host the 2nd Annual Ruth-Hart Stephens Memorial Golf Tournament in Milton.
The sun was shining and the golfers loved it as dozens of industry players hit the links at Glencairn Golf Club today for a good cause.
Todays winning foursome of Michael Knowles, Klaus Hagenberg, Don Williamson and Dean Hope also marked the tournaments first title defense, as the same group won the inaugural tournament last year.
The prize table was loaded this year with a bevy of donated items including a 42 Samsung TV, Sirius Satellite Radio players, a GPS unit and tons of golf paraphernalia.
And it wouldnt have been a golf tournament hosted by an auction firm without some live bidding, as one of Manheims microphone magicians took the stage to sell a number of additional golf prizes.
The packed house was able to bid on rounds of golf at Hamilton Golf and Country Club, Lake Joe, Grandview and lessons at host course Glencairn.
All the money raised will be donated to the United Way, Salvation Army and Sick Kids Hospital.
