ADP has acquired customer relationship management and related software provider ONE-EIGHTY CORP. for undisclosed terms.

Based in Waterloo, Ontario, ONE-EIGHTY specializes in cloud-based, mobile-enabled applications used by Canadian automobile dealers in the sales process.

The data captured during that process and through integration with the DMS is then leveraged for customer and prospect retention. ADP says ONE-EIGHTY’s solutions allow dealers to manage CRM, menu-based selling, finance and leasing, inventory, leads, business development centre and credit applications.

Founded in 2000, ONE-EIGHTY supports nearly all major manufacturer brands and has been an approved ADP Dealer Services’ vendor since 2010, as part of ADP Dealer Services’ Third Party Access Program.

“ONE-EIGHTY CORP. extends our product leadership. Because it is delivered as software as a service, it’s 100 per cent web-based and the information needed to sell a car – like pricing, financing, promotions, tax and more – can be updated in real time for our dealership users,” explained Dean Anton, general manager of ADP Dealer Services’ Canadian region.

“Plus, the customer-engaging sales process can all be done on a mobile device, making the car buying process less error-prone and more efficient for everyone involved – dealers, manufacturers and consumers. Similar to dealer services, ONE-EIGHTY CORP. embraces the agile product development process, so they are able to evolve the solution rapidly to stay relevant to the marketplace’s needs.”
