AutoCanada Chooses Kijiji As Its Preferred Online Marketplace Partner In Canada

Kijiji and AutoCanada announced that Kijiji will be AutoCanada’s preferred online marketplace partner in Canada.
This partnership will provide AutoCanada dealers with access to Kijiji’s audience, in addition to tailored solutions to address AutoCanada’s size, scale and geographic scope. In turn, AutoCanada will increase Kijiji’s automotive inventory abundancy, leveraging AutoCanada’s significant quantities of new and used vehicles, thus benefitting car shoppers with greater selection on a convenient platform.
Coming off of the heels of the Kijiji Autos announcement – an automotive property created to make car shopping easier for all Canadians – this partnership with AutoCanada will be inclusive of both Kijiji and Kijiji Autos.
“We are very excited to partner with Kijiji,” said Paul Antony, executive chairman of AutoCanada. “Using the size and scale of AutoCanada’s platform to develop deep partnerships with our strategic vendors, rather than having traditional supplier relationships, is a pivotal turning point in the evolution of our company. Translating those benefits to our dealers to help operate our business in a more efficient and effective manner is a key pillar of our go-forward plan. We are focused on the future of automotive retail in North America and we are constantly looking at new and innovative ways to shape the future of our industry.”
“AutoCanada’s dealership database and Kijiji’s automotive marketplace made this partnership a natural fit,” said Leanne Kripp, director of autos at Kijiji. “As a first-of-its-kind partnership, this is a huge vote of confidence for the work we’re doing to provide greater value for dealers and showcases our commitment to making the car buying journey easier for Canadians.”
