Birchwood BMW named best in the West


WINNIPEG – Birchwood BMW won BMW’s Excellence in Overall Service Satisfaction Award for Western Canada in 2015.

Birchwood also had the highest year-over-year growth in vehicle sales. And the store also ranked as the number 1 volume BMW M Performance Automobile dealer in Western Canada (non-metro) last year.  

“We realized 25 per cent year-over-year sales growth in 2015,” says store GM Craig Becker in an email. “That places us number 1 in the West and number 2 in all of Canada.”

Becker went on to say the store is on track to having with another award-winning year with Q1 2016 showing sales up by 32.9 per cent over the same time period last year.

The dealership credits the record-breaking growth to its focus on the customer.

“We aim to deliver an outstanding experience each time the customer brings their vehicle in for service, detailing, or repair,” he says.

“We beat every other dealership in Western Canada to finish first in sales growth and Overall Service Satisfaction. We’re really proud of that.”

In 2014, Birchwood BMW built a new facility in the Pointe West Autopark. Management and staff are making the most of it when it comes to pleasing the customer.

“ It has the only customer lounge in Winnipeg where customers can watch technicians hard at work on their vehicles,” Becker boasts.

Beyond selling cars, Birchwood BMW is proud to give back to the Winnipeg community by supporting a wide variety of charities such as the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Gala Fundraiser and the Sons of Italy.

Management and staff vow to keep up the good work in 2016.
