Cadillac’s Largest Stand-Alone Dealership Opens In Calgary

Carter Cadillac in Calgary Alberta is now the home of Cadillac’s first and largest exclusive dealer location in North America under the new brand architecture.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at the dealership’s new location, 649 Heritage Drive SE, and was hosted by Carter Cadillac’s managing partner Jay McKeen, and Cadillac president Steve Carlisle.
“I’ve been lucky to be part of the Cadillac transformation over the past few years, which sparked our desire to invest the time and resources in building the first Cadillac-exclusive dealership in Western Canada,” said Jay McKeen, managing partner, Carter Cadillac. “We’ve noticed an increased interest in luxury vehicles in the west and Calgary is the highest volume market for Cadillac in Western Canada, making it the perfect location for this new dealership.”
The new dealership features a dual-showroom facility that is built to house new and innovative services, including a virtual reality showroom in line with Cadillac’s focus on technology and solar-powered electric vehicle fast-charging stations. Carter Cadillac’s concierge offers a full-service experience to allow for seamless vehicle ownership, including pick up and return for vehicle servicing.
The new dealership features 50,000 square feet of developed space over three storeys, designed to maximize indoor showroom space during climactic weather. An upper showroom offering Cadillac’s V-Series high-performance vehicles and a rotation of vintage Cadillac cars provides car enthusiasts with a shopping experience that marries Cadillacs of the past with the latest in design and performance vehicles in the V-series.
“Cadillac’s mission is to provide customers with a luxury experience that is second to none, and this applies to our facilities and services as much as it does our vehicles” said Steve Carlisle, president, Cadillac. “Carter Cadillac’s new dealership perfectly showcases that philosophy, and we couldn’t be more excited about opening it in one of our most burgeoning markets.”
The dealership is creating up 30 new full-time positions in the Calgary market, with expected growth of up to 40 positions by the end of 2019.
