Canada Night at NADA sold out

LAS VEGAS, NEV. – That didn’t take long!
With a few weeks to go until the largest dealer gathering in the world kicks off in Las Vegas, organizers behind the first ever Canada Night NAD-Eh! say the party is completely sold out and at full capacity.
“We’ve had such an incredible response to Canada Night NAD’eh, more than we could have ever anticipated,” explained SCI Marketview’s Alan Bird. “Several vendors have thrown their support behind this and collectively we have over 190 Canadian dealers attending, which is great for a first-time event.”
Set for Mar. 31 at the Sayer’s Club in Las Vegas, the idea was to host the hundreds of Canadian dealers, vendors and auto industry movers and shakers who make the trek south to the annual NADA Convention and Expo.
And while several partners have come together to support Canada Night NAD-Eh!– including Canadian AutoWorld – there is no doubt the effort has been spearheaded by SCI Marketview.
“Years ago, there was a Canadian-focused event but unfortunately, it fell by the wayside. We felt it was time to bring it back,” Bird explained in February.
Providing entertainment will be Blue Rodeo’s Jim Cuddy backed by his band.
The venue has a capacity of 250 so anyone interested in attending at this point will have their name added to an already lengthy waiting list in case of cancellations.
“We’ll definitely need a much bigger venue in New Orleans in 2017,” he added.
The 2016 NADA Convention and Expo runs from Mar. 31 to Apr. 4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Early indicators suggest attendance will be positive as online registration experienced a 12 per cent boost during the first five days after opening compared to the same time the previous year.
Keynote speakers included comedian Jeff Foxworthy, NADA chairman Bill Fox and NFL quarterback Peyton Manning.
