It is safe to say that the hottest ticket in Las Vegas for Canadians come the end of March will not be for Celine Dion or the Golden Knights.

Registration has opened for the event that promises to bring a slice of Canadiana to the Las Vegas Strip. That means the world’s biggest dealer event will kick off with a made-in-Canada party.

“This will be the event to attend for all Canadians on the Thursday night,” explained Lara Appleton, leader with SCI MarketView and committee chair for Canada Night NAD’eh.

“We are so happy to have partnered with so many great sponsors and I know it will be a great time. Good food, drink and fantastic entertainment – I can’t think of a better way to kick off NADA.”

The party will be held at Vinyl at The Hard Rock on Thurs., March 22 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Alan Doyle (from Great Big Sea) and the Beautiful Gypsies will perform for a crowd that could near 500.

Canada Night NAD’eh was essentially launched by committee in 2016. The idea was to have, among the slew of OEM and vendor events at the show every year, a party that would bring together all the Canadian dealers and vendors for an evening of fun and entertainment.

The inaugural event was held at the SLS Casino in Las Vegas and saw hundreds of Canadian attendees entertained by legendary singer/songwriter Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo fame.

After being put on pause earlier this year to support CADA’s 75th anniversary bash at NADA in New Orleans, the committee is confident the 2018 edition will be bigger and better than the first.

The event has 21 sponsors, several media partners – including Canadian AutoWorld – and is supported by all of the provincial dealer associations and the CADA.
Since it is free for Canadian dealers, organizers are expecting about 400 Canadian dealers and staff to attend.
