Carpages.ca Launches ’Dashboard’ Mobile App For Dealers
Carpages.ca announced the availability of its new Dashboard app.
The mobile app is a complete rebuild of the previous ‘Dealer Dashboard’, a first-generation mobile-app designed on the same platform. The latest app enables new and existing clients to expedite the creation of vehicle listings by capturing the VIN barcode from the in-app camera that automatically extracts vehicle information, with the ability to ongoingly edit data such as vehicle features. The app can be downloaded on iOS and Android devices and is inclusive of a user-centric platform focused on greater performance, advanced functionality, and refined data management tools.
“The new Dashboard app gives dealers the ability to capture vehicle photos and specs in the simplest way possible and to then syndicate their vehicles across multiple platforms including Carpages.ca, Kijiji, and AutoTrader” said Ben Mirecki, president at Carpages.ca.
Key features in the app include the ability to scan a vehicle’s VIN using the in-app camera, allowing for the rapid gathering of important vehicle information, and to automatically fill in listing forms with that information; rapid uploading of vehicle images either from the in-app camera or from a local image library; the ability to view inventory status; to view and edit inventory items; and the ability to edit inventory offline.
