Celebration of life for Kathy Ward planned for Jan. 23

At the age of 60, surrounded by family and close friends on Christmas Eve, past president and CEO of Canadian Black Book, Kathy Ward passed away.

After a courageous fight, she eventually lost a multiyear battle against cancer.

Her family and friends will now celebrate her life with a special event on Jan. 23 at the Universal EventSpace in Vaughan, Ont.

The event will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a special tribute starting at 3 p.m.

As the family prepares for Kathy’s celebration of life, they have asked that if anyone has any pictures they wish to share please send them to info@tada.ca along with any note you wish to extend and they will be passed along to the family.

As an expression of sympathy, contributions may be made to Kathy’s favourite charity that she had supported for years, the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation.
