Chrysler Canada reveals Fiat dealership locations
Chrysler Canada says 58 dealers will be selling Fiat in their showrooms as the Italian brand makes its return to the North American marketplace.
The automaker says this initial group of dealers, featuring 17 Ontario dealers, 21 in Quebec, three in Manitoba, eight in Alberta, seven in B.C. and single points in Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia, were selected to “represent the Fiat Brand based on their location, the establishment of a dedicated Fiat area, and proven sales and customer service expertise.”
“We received many very unique and promising proposals from our Canadian dealers,” said Reid Bigland, president and CEO of Chrysler Canada.
“The enthusiastic and innovative concepts proved that they 'get' what the Fiat brand is all about, and bodes well for the successful launch of the brand here in Canada.”
The 58 dealers will start by selling the 2012 Fiat 500 (Cinquecento), which recently debuted at the Los Angeles International Auto Show. With a Canadian MSRP of $15,995, the 500 will be offered in three trims with 14 exterior colours and 11 unique seat colour and material combinations. The 500 comes with a standard five-year/100,000 km powertrain warranty and five years of roadside assistance.
The small subcompact is equipped with Fiat's fuel-efficient 1.4 litre MultiAir four-cylinder engine.
