Dealertrack names new Canadian GM

Dealertrack Canada has a new man at the helm.
Richard Evans has been named V-P and general manager starting April 25.
The executive joins the team from Davis & Henderson where he was most recently V-P for collateral management solutions responsible for that group's overall strategic direction and financial performance.
Evans will initially work with Michael Collins, senior V-P at Dealertrack, as Collins transitions toward retirement.
Following Collins' retirement, Evans will work with Mark Furcolo, senior V-P, lender solutions at Dealertrack, and Maria Soklis, president of Cox Automotive Canada, to continue the integration between Dealertrack and Cox Automotive.
“We are fortunate to have such a talented and experienced leader as Richard joining Dealertrack's Canadian team,” said Collins.
“Richard's extensive management experience, coupled with his strong commitment to uncover opportunities through client and industry engagement, and his deep and versatile background within the Canadian financial services software market, make him the perfect person to lead our team.”
Evan’s fills the role vacated by Michael McCarthy, who left the company a few months ago. McCarthy had been named V-P and general manager back in the fall of 2013. He too had come from a position at Davis & Henderson.
