NEWMARKET, ONT. – Canada’s largest automotive group is now a little bigger with the addition of BMW Newmarket.

Dilawri Group of Companies, which purchased the store from Frank Serpa, now owns four BMW stores and 64 dealerships overall.

“With the addition of BMW Newmarket, we are proud to introduce Dilawri’s customer-centric focus to Newmarket and surrounding area,” said co-principal director Kap Dilawri.

“We are extremely pleased to further strengthen our partnership with BMW Canada, and are proud to represent this world-class brand in Newmarket.”

Located roughly 35 minutes north of Toronto, the store recently underwent a comprehensive renovation including an expansion of the showroom and service department.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to assist customers in Newmarket and the surrounding area with their luxury vehicle sales and service needs, and we look forward to becoming an integral part of the local community,” said general manager Jamie MacArthur.

Serpa had purchased the store from Michael Croxon and the NewRoads Automotive Group in April 2012.
