VANCOUVER, B.C. – The growth continues.

The Dilawri Group purchased North Vancouver Nissan and Infiniti North Vancouver, formerly known as Regency Nissan and Regency Infiniti in mid-May, pushing the national presence for Canada’s largest dealership group to 49 facilities.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The dualed Nissan/Infiniti store brings the group’s total to four Infiniti and two Nissan dealerships.

As part of the take over, Dilawri said it would update the facility with minor renovations and implement new systems to make it “congruent” with its operations at Infiniti Downtown Vancouver, 401 Dixie Nissan, 401 Dixie Infiniti, Dilawri Nissan of Regina and Dilawri Infiniti of Regina.

The store is approximately 33,000 square feet and was first established in 1983 by the former owners, Regency.

“This is an exceptional opportunity for our company to continue it’s strategic expansion by building upon our partnership with Infiniti and Nissan Canada, two manufacturers we have proven to be successful with as a franchised dealer,” said Christian Dubois, regional operations director.

Staff and management will remain at both dealerships with John Arani maintaining the position as sales manager at Infiniti North Vancouver and Nick Horning as sales manager of North Vancouver Nissan.
