Land Rover Canada says the new Range Rover Evoque will have a starting price of $46,995 when it hits Canadian dealerships this fall.
The all-new model for the luxury line will top out at $52,595 for the coupe model (MSRP for base five-door is $46,995).
“The Range Rover Evoque will revolutionize the way people see our brand,” said Lindsay Duffield, president of Jaguar Land Rover Canada. “Its classic Range Rover design cues, combined with its smaller size and serious approach to sustainability, will attract a new generation of customers who may have never considered an SUV before.”
Both coupe and five-door models of the Evoque will be manufactured at Land Rover's Halewood plant in Merseyside, UK. The unit is set to go on sale in more than 160 markets worldwide, with Canadian deliveries to 22 dealers across the country from fall 2011.
The company says the vehicle will have three trims (Pure, Prestige and Dynamic) that include an array of extras like an 8-inch touch-screen display and surround camera system and an extensive list of comfort and convenience options such as rich leathers and wood trims, a 825W Meridian - 17 speaker surround sound system, rear seat entertainment package, powered tailgate and Adaptive Dynamics with MagneRide.
Fuel economy is set at 7.1 L/100 km highway and 10.7 L/100 km city.
