GEORGETOWN, ONT. - Georgetown Toyota, owned by The Humberview Group, began what it calls an” exciting new chapter in its history” on July 29 with the official opening of a brand-new building.

The new site, located at 312 Guelph Street in the Toronto-area suburb, spans 32,000 square feet.

Customers can now expect more comfort and better service than ever at the dealership, said dealer Kevin Wood.

“This outstanding new facility was designed with our customers as the top priority,” said Kevin Wood, who has operated Georgetown Toyota since 1996.

“It has a state-of-the-art waiting room, where customers can relax in comfortable seating, while watching television and having some fresh coffee. We're very excited to be serving our customers here.”

The dealership, which also offers new car delivery bays and drive-through service, said it has hired four more people, bringing the Georgetown Toyota team to a total of 39 associates.

“Georgetown Toyota has been serving the region with excellence for many years,” said Seiji Ichii, president and CEO of Toyota Canada Inc.

“The dealership is now poised to take their service to a whole new level thanks to this outstanding new building. It is very exciting for the associates who work there, their customers, and the community at large.”

As an integral part of the Georgetown community, the dealership lists sponsorship of the Georgetown Highland Games, the Hockey Heritage dinner and the Georgetown and Erin Fall Fairs, as well as local sports teams.
