Honda said it would reveal an all-new urban SUV concept at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.

The concept, teased in a sketch released by the automaker, is said to be a “global” concept model combining a sporty SUV profile with a “spacious, functional interior.”

The concept will be introduced during Honda’s NAIAS press conference, which will also be broadcast live via a webcast at hondawebcast.com.

Honda, which already sells the Pilot and top-seller CR-V, hinted the model would sit somewhere between the CR-V and its Crosstour competing with smaller SUVs like the Nissan Juke and Subaru XV Crosstrek.
