Hyundai Canada announces pricing on Equus

Hyundai Canada has announced pricing its all-new luxury sedan, the Equus, placing it in a competitive sweet spot with the likes of BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
The Equus, which hits select Canadian showrooms soon, comes in two trims with the Signature starting at $62,999 and the Ultimate starting at $69,999.
The Equus uses a 4.6-litre V8 with six-speed transmission and includes rear-wheel drive architecture, air suspension, and continuous damping control.
Both models are loaded with luxury features including adaptive cruise control, premium leather seats, natural wood trim, Alcantara suede headliner, 19-inch chrome alloy wheels and navigation system with rearview camera.
In the Ultimate, rear-seat passengers can enjoy a cooled storage box, eight-inch movie display, and VIP seat with shiatsu massage function and extending leg rest.
In addition to improving its offering, Hyundai is reportedly going to up the ante when it comes to selling the model. According to the manufacturer, all models include a full concierge service within both during and after sale. That means that potential buyers can have an Equus driven to their homes or work by a specially-trained salesperson for a custom walkaround and test drive.
After the sale and when it requires maintenance, local dealerships will pick the vehicle and leave either another Equus or a Genesis for the customer to drive while their vehicle is in the shop.
