The latest addition to the Kia lineup is here. The all-new Kia Stinger comes in two trims – the Stinger GT and Stinger GT Limited – and starts at $44,195 and $49,995 respectively.
The automaker likely has some high hopes for the AWD 3.3L Twin Turbo V6 sports sedan as it continues to expand into new segments in Canada. Stinger will sit below the full-sized Kia K900 and Cadenza in the lineup and marks another attempt to move the brand upmarket.
The Stinger features a standard 8-speed Sportmatic automatic transmission with a 3.3L Twin-Turbo V6 that will generate 365 Horsepower and 376 ft. lbs. of torque.
Also standard will be Kia’s first-ever AWD application on a sedan, Brembo brakes and a long list of advanced technology designed to give drivers the performance they crave with the luxury, comfort and convenience they deserve.
“Dreams have now become a reality for Canadians that want a car brimming with style and technology, with the performance to match its looks – in any conditions,” said Ted Lancaster, vice-president and COO, Kia Canada.
“Backed by Kia’s industry-leading quality, Stinger will give consumers an attainable, no-compromise choice in the hyper-competitive sports sedan market.”
