‘Largest and most technologically-advanced’ Porsche store opens

Owned by the Policaro Automotive Family, the state-of-the-art facility measures 5,000 square metres also has room for a 20-vehicle used car  display and the Porsche After Sales Service Centre.

This indoor area includes Porsche Classic Service, the Porsche Club Lounge with a full gourmet professional kitchen, the Carrera Café, Porsche Driver’s Selection Boutique and Porsche Kids Play Area.

“Porsche Centre Oakville embodies the ambitious characteristics of the Porsche brand,” said Francesco Policaro, GM Porsche Centre Oakville.

“Porsche actively seeks ways to stretch boundaries. We’re committed to making our Porsche Centre the most exciting outpost for Porsche this side of the Porsche factory in Zuffenhausen, Germany.”

In keeping with Porsche’s commitment to environmental responsibility, the dealership includes a number of efficiency features such as fully automated LED lighting, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and audio and video systems, an industry-leading TPO membrane roof, and water powered aqua-lifts in each service bay.

Located in Oakville, Ont., the dealership will service the western Greater Toronto Area, including Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton and surrounding communities.

The store opened in mid-September.

The centre now employs 42 skilled and Porsche-trained personnel.

The Policaro Automotive Family employs 402 employees at eight automobile franchises with seven automobile brands - Acura, Honda, Hyundai, Lexus, Scion, Toyota and Porsche.
