It is safe to say that despite the jump from corporate to retail, Neal Bodack will be very familiar with the product on the showroom floor at his new store.

Bodack, the former V-P of national sales at Mercedes-Benz Canada, has joined the Zanchin Automotive Group as a partner and general manager of Mercedes-Benz Durham

Group president Joe Zanchin said he was thrilled to have Bodack take over the reins at the store. The new hire joined the brand in 1988 and has held several senior management positions in both retail and wholesale capacities in the ensuing three decades.

“It’s a bittersweet time for me at this juncture,” Bodack said of the move. “I am very excited to be able to take over the helm of an already well-established, privately-owned dealership within the Mercedes-Benz Canada dealer network, and bring its overall performance to the next level.”

Mercedes-Benz Durham was added to the Zanchin Automotive Group of stores in late 2015. The group dates back to 1974 and currently owns more than 30 franchised dealerships throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
