Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada Inc. (MMSCAN) announced a new addition to its dealer network with the May 12 grand opening of London Mitsubishi.
Koji Soga, president and CEO of MMSCAN along with co-dealers Bill Duffield, president and V-P Steve McKeown took scissors in hand to cut the ribbon and officially open the dealership located at 1045 Wharncliffe Rd South, in London, Ontario.
“We are very pleased to welcome Bill Duffield, Steve McKeown and their team at London Mitsubishi to our dealer family, Bill and Steve are both highly accomplished businessmen, each with a long history in the automotive business,” said Soga. “Their reputation is known for strong customer focused retailers, which provides a great base on which to build the Mitsubishi brand.
“Their community involvement is most admirable and they are terrific supporters of many local causes assisting those in need.”
The dealers proved Soga right when they capitalized on the event to raise funds for the Japan Tsunami Red Cross Relief effort. They purchased a large quantity of the CD, “Songs for Japan,” which features over 38 artists who donated their songs for this fundraising CD.
London Mitsubishi will be giving each customer a complimentary CD upon a test drive during the opening weekend (May 14th).
In addition, London Mitsubishi is encouraging Londoners to drop into the dealership and make a donation to the Red Cross Relief fund and enjoy a BBQ lunch as a thank you.
“We are proud and honoured to join the Mitsubishi dealer network,” said Bill Duffield. “The commitment to top quality and growth that marks Mitsubishi’s continuing progress in Canada was instrumental in our decision to add London Mitsubishi to our other line up of quality luxury brands, and we look forward to serving our customers with the very best sales and service that the automotive industry has to offer.”
