New Porsche dealership to open in Oakville

Porsche Cars Canada confirms that the Policaro Automotive Family will open an all-new, multi-million-dollar Porsche dealership roughly 30 minutes west of Toronto in Oakville, Ont.
Said to be built in Oakville on the south side of the Queen Elizabeth Way, a major highway running from the Niagara region into Toronto, Porsche Centre Oakville will formally open its doors in 2012.
This will be Canada's 15 Porsche dealership and the third to open its doors in as many years.
“We are excited to be joining the Porsche family,” said Tony Policaro, dealer principal.
“We have a great deal of respect for Porsche as a brand, Porsche Cars Canada and the Canadian network that we are joining. We are also thrilled at the opportunity to operate in such a fantastic community in Oakville and will do our best to represent Porsche and contribute to its continued success and future growth.”
“The Policaro group is a well-established automotive group in the GTA with a reputation for strong performance and excellent customer satisfaction,” added Joe Lawrence, Porsche Canada's president and CEO.
“Most important, the Policaros' passion for Porsche was evident from the moment we met. We look forward to fulfilling the outstanding market potential for Porsche in Oakville together with Tony and the Policaro group.”
Established in 1979 and led by three brothers - Basil, Tony and Paul - and supported by a second generation, the Policaro Automotive Family is a dealership group that operates seven automotive franchises in six independently-operated dealerships including Acura, Honda, Hyundai, Lexus, Scion and Toyota.
It also operates an OEM-approved collision repair centre.
