New site offers leads for ‘new car intenders’ in your market

Share is offering a new tool for Canadian dealers looking to grow new car business via a digital marketplace.

Dubbed the New Car Showroom, the online research tool allows auto consumers to research, compare and price more than 300 new model vehicles from all the major auto manufacturers in one place.

“For example, a Toyota dealer in Mississauga can sponsor the entire Toyota lineup which means any consumer in Mississauga looking at any Toyota model vehicle will see the dealer’s logo displayed prominently and exclusively as the sponsoring dealer,” he said.

The company said it has designed the tool to be “user-friendly” and “device-friendly,” meaning it will work on smartphones, tablets and full screen desktops.

Dealers also have the option to receive sales leads in the form of test drive bookings.

“We allow consumers to book a test drive at their local dealer once they find a car they’re interested in. The goal is to help generate walk in traffic for the dealer that is very targeted and that will be easier to convert into a sale.”

The nationwide program launched in early January.

Mirecki said prices start at $50 per month per vehicle model. He said savvy dealers could also have the option to sponsor another brand’s lineup so it gets another brand’s leads, noting that some dealers have expressed interest in this option.

“Dealers are always looking for new ways to advertise their business in a relevant and cost-effective way,” he said. “New Car Showroom gives dealers a way to target consumers, and more specifically, new car intenders in their local market. It guarantees that 100 per cent of their advertising spend hits the exact audience they want to reach.”
