Mercedes-Benz Canada recently announced its 2011 Star Dealer award winners and only two have repeated from the year previous.
The designation, which recognizes the “significant accomplishments” of the top ten authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers in Canada, is also dominated by Ontario dealerships, which nabbed four of the ten spots.
This year’s crop of winners include Luc Duval of Duval Mercedes-Benz in Boucherville, Que., and John Angelucci of Mercedes-Benz Barrie in Barrie, Ont.
Winners, the automaker said in a release, are selected from the company’s entire national retail network of 39 authorized dealers and the recipients are determined based on overall performance in five separate categories: new and pre-owned sales, service and parts, and customer satisfaction.
“In 2010, we celebrated many significant milestones, established several new sales records and ultimately assumed the leadership position in the luxury segment in Canada by reporting by far the company’s best year ever,” said Marcus Breitschwerdt, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Canada.
“Our fascinating and highly desirable product range is the strongest it has been in our history, but the true catalyst to our success and a critical element to our continued growth is the strength of our dealership
