Pfaff Automotive Partners says it has acquired Davies Harley-Davidson, located in Richmond Hill, Ont.

The dealership, now named Pfaff Harley-Davidson, serves North York, Rexdale, and York Region. It is the only dealership in the Greater Toronto Area that serves two Harley Owners Group chapters: Toronto and York Region.

“Passion, excitement, and history have always been part of the Pfaff brand, and the same elements are what have made the Harley-Davidson brand the powerhouse that it is,” explains Pfaff president and CEO Christopher Pfaff.

“There is no stronger, or more culturally significant, motorcycle brand on the market, and we can’t wait to introduce Harley-Davidson to our passionate owners of premium automobiles. We think they’ll love Harley-Davidson as much as we do.”

The move is a bit of a departure for the group, which is known primarily as a luxury and performance automobile dealership group. Its current stable of stores includes points for Audi, BMW, Porsche, McLaren and Pagani, among others. The group also operates Pfaff Tuning, Pfaff Leasing, and Pfaff Autoworks in addition to maintaining a close relationship with Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Pfaff also recently closed a deal with Automotive Properties REIT in recent weeks worth $17.2 million for the Pfaff Audi property in Vaughan, Ont.

This is the second such move by a Canadian dealership group in recent weeks as executives with the Policaro Automotive Family confirmed to Canadian AutoWorld it had been awarded a Harley-Davidson franchise in Oakville, Ont.
