Policaro Family breaks ground on new BMW store

BRAMPTON, ONT. – Members of the Policaro Automotive Family were joined by BMW executives this week to officially break ground on the brand’s newest retail point.
BMW Brampton, set to service Brampton, Caledon, Orangeville and surrounding areas roughly one hour northwest of Toronto, is scheduled to open its doors in late 2015.
The ceremony included remarks from dealership general manager, Francesco A. Policaro and BMW Canada chief Hans Blesse.
“BMW is a brand that I have always aspired to be a part of, and today my dreams have become a reality as we broke ground on a facility that we believe will become one of the most exciting showcases for BMW this side of Munich,” Policaro told the small gathering.
The 60,000-square foot facility will sit at the corner of Highway 410 and Mayfield Road. It will offer an M certified retail experience dedicated to BMW performance.
“The design blended with the Policaro's already exceptional devotion the customer will make for a world class consumer and brand experience,” said Robert Arnone, partner at RH Carter Architects.
BMW Brampton will be the 46th BMW retailer in Canada.
The Policaro Automotive Family operates eight dealerships representing eight brands – Acura, Honda, Hyundai, Lexus, Scion, Toyota, Porsche and now BMW.
