RouteOne Canada said a new integration with THINKCARDS’ EasyRoute will allow dealers to scan a consumer’s driver’s license and pre-populate data into the RouteOne system.
“This streamlined process saves dealers time and also increases efficiency and accuracy of the data gathered for a credit application or test drive,” the company noted in a release.
THINKCARDS’ EasyRoute is a mobile app directly integrated into the RouteOne system. Using a mobile device to scan, the system captures a consumer’s identity information from the bar code of his or her driver’s licence.
It securely transfers collected data into RouteOne, without storing any non-public personal information (NPPI) on the mobile device.
Dealers can easily retrieve captured data to pre-populate a credit application, which saves time and reduces errors of manually keying in consumer data.
“At RouteOne, we strive to make dealers’ daily tasks easier and more efficient,” said Anthony Goulbourne, RouteOne Canada senior vice-president.
“This integration not only accomplishes these goals but also adds another layer to the mobile capabilities we provide that offer flexibility and accommodate the evolving vehicle purchasing process.”
