Frank Serpa has added a high-volume domestic store to his group with the purchase of Toronto’s Agincourt/401 Kennedy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.

The Serpa Automotive Group announced the deal with SF Auto Group this week saying it would rename the store Serpa Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.

Financial details were not disclosed.

The Serpa group also owns Serpa BMW in Newmarket, Ont. He had previously owned Avante Mazda before selling that point, now called Richmond Hill Mazda, to David Green.

“We will now transform the new Serpa-branded dealership into the finest customer-oriented retailer in the GTA,” Serpa said in a release, noting this is something he’s sought for more than 30 years.

“There are many synergies between the dealership we currently operate and ones we will acquire in the future, and we look forward to putting those to work immediately.”

Stefano Serpa will become the group’s V-P overseeing both the dealerships. Gautam Shah has been named general sales manager at the new Chrysler point.

The store sits just off Kennedy Rd. just north of Highway 401 in the northeast corner of Toronto.
