Langdon named president at RSR Global

Steve Langdon has been named president of RSR Global.

The move, effective in January, will see the industry veteran work to expand RSR Global’s reach in existing business models and beyond with new products and programs
 
RSR Global is a Canadian-owned company specializing in profitable, structured aftermarket retail products and programs for the automotive Industry.
 
Langdon most served as senior director of dealer sales with ADESA Canada. He joined RSR Global in August as V-P of strategic business development.
 
“Steve understands the automotive industry from a captive finance, OEM, commercial account and dealership perspective,” explained Karey Davidson, RSR Global CEO.
 
Langdon began his automotive career nearly 20 years ago as a service advisor for Groupe Samatas at Excel Honda in Montreal. He was recruited by Volvo Parts Canada Inc. to be team leader and was promoted to Canadian operations manager within 18 months.

He joined OnLane in 2002 and worked his way through a number of positions. He joined ADESA in 2007 as executive sales manager and was subsequently promoted to a number of more senior positions before being named senior director of dealer sales.

RSR Global has spent more than 17 years pioneered products and services to automotive dealerships across Canada. Its current stable of products include a number of F&I offerings including theft deterrent, identity restoration, nitrogen tire inflation, appearance product and credit insurance programs.
