LGM names David Wilke as manager, national training

LGM says this position of manager, national training is a new one and part of an “overarching strategy” to realign LGM’s marketing and training teams to support the company’s dealer development efforts.

“David will play a key role in further developing LGM’s dealership training programs by spearheading new projects, innovating new processes, and assuming the regional sales training position for the central region,” LGM says.  

“David joins the marketing team from his previous position as LGM’s dealer development manager, Southwestern Ontario, and has over 10 years’ experience in sales and dealer development.  

The company says Wilke brings to the new position the insights he gained working as a business manager and a new vehicle sales consultant in various dealerships and that he has demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning.

The new hire holds LLQP (life license qualification) designation and will earn his CSP (Canadian sales professional) shortly.

Effective April 1, he will oversee the LGM staff of national trainers at LGM’s Oakville, Ont., office and report to Christine Rybas, VP marketing.

LGM says the appointment comes at a pivotal time as LGM prepares to launch two key initiatives: LiveDOC, a proprietary reporting, performance measurement, and integration tool and a Canadian-focused F&I training curriculum.
