PBS Systems certified by Ford’s ONE WARRANTY SOLUTION

Ford Motor Company’s ONE WARRANTY SOLUTION (OWS) team has certified PBS Systems Inc. for Ford dealerships in Canada and the U.S.

Ford’s new global warranty processing system provides Ford dealers with a new portal for entering, editing and receiving updates for warranty claims with real-time processing and feedback for DMS-initiated claims.

“We’re pleased that PBS Systems has been certified by Ford Motor Company for this new initiative” said Lynn McNeill, senior V-P for PBS Systems Inc.

McNeill said the new interface between the PBS Systems’ DMS and Ford’s system would help drive operating productivity and efficiency at both the dealer level and manufacturer levels.

The new DMS software would provide a common global business approach to Ford dealerships for all warranty issues and will support improved vehicle quality and increased dealership satisfaction with “faster processing time, real-time claim submission and fewer rejected claims.”

The Canadian PBS Systems Group has been providing dealership software, services and support for more than 23 years and is now the largest Canadian dealership systems vendor.
