RBC Automotive Finance has named Dale Jeffery as head of national accounts and Wendy Carroll as national head of sales.

Both appointments were effective Nov. 1, 2014.

In his new role, Jeffery will have responsibility for large dealer groups, dealer consortium sales and account management nationally. He joined RBC in 1997 and has taking on several senior roles over the years. His most previous role was as head of portfolio and credit strategy within automotive finance.

Carroll will have responsibility for all non-national account sales and account management across Canada. She has had progressively more senior positions since joining RBC in 1985, and was most recently national head of sales for Eastern Canada.

The appointments were related to the departure of George Steinsky, the former V-P of sales for RBC automotive Finance who assumed the role of V-P of sales and marketing for the new Hyundai Capital Canada this past summer.

“With the breadth of leadership experience and knowledge that Wendy and Dale bring to the table, they will build on the successes of RBC Auto Finance from the past 18 months,” said Ron McClure, head of RBC Automotive Finance.

“As automotive specialists, RBC Auto Finance continues to position itself as a leader in the industry and bring unparalleled value to its dealers and manufacturers to help with their businesses.”

RBC recently celebrated its one year anniversary of full integration of the Ally Canada portfolio.
