Sym-Tech appoints new president, COO

Brad Gibson has been named the new president and chief operating officer of Sym-Tech.

Brad Wells, current Sym-Tech general manager says Gibson brings nearly 20 years of senior management experience to the position, including roughly 14 years as president and COO of BIC Inc.

“Gibson also has international experience as the country manager for BIC in Australia and New Zealand,” Sym-Tech says in a release. “In all of his roles he has built a strong team and culture that allowed for impressive growth of the businesses he managed.”

Gibson says he was looking for a senior position in a fast-growing and innovative company that is a leader in the industry.  

“Sym-Tech has a loyal and growing dealer base because they deliver superior service and products and are well positioned to continue to grow. I am excited by our recently announced Performance Development Program designed to enhance performance in the business office, in collaboration with JM&A,” he added.

“While it was a difficult decision and process to find a president that I felt would be a strong fit, it was not a difficult decision that Brad Gibson was the right person,” Wells added.

Sym-Tech, a Canadian aftermarket supplier to new car dealers, recently announced a collaborative training program with JM&A Group.
