For the third consecutive year, Cox Automotive Canada has been named one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for 2022.
The top employer competition has become the benchmark for workplace best-practices, evaluating organizations on eight key criteria for employee satisfaction: physical workplace; work atmosphere and social; health, financial and family benefits; vacation and time-off; employee communications; performance management; training and skills development; and community involvement.
In 2021, Cox Automotive Canada continued to prioritize the well-being of its team members by offering a work environment which promoted both physical and mental health. Through virtual wellness events, a concerted focus on inclusion, diversity and equity, active involvement in the community with fundraising efforts and various employee events, they continued to deliver an environment where team members can be their true selves.
New benefits included the launch of an employee vehicle purchase plan, an extended Canada Day long weekend and working with employees across Canada to create a future way of working, whereby over 60 per cent of team members work remotely but still leverage the physical office location for collaboration and team events. Outside the organization, Cox Automotive Canada is dedicated to fostering a more diverse and inclusive future for the automotive industry by supporting students with two new awards at Georgian College Automotive School of Business.
