Ford of Canada says Dianne Craig will assume the duties of president and CEO effective Nov. 1 as outgoing president David Mondragon moves south to head up marketing for Ford and Lincoln in the U.S.
According to the company, Craig has been the general manager in the U.S.’s southeast market since 2009. She joined the company in 1986 and has held numerous positions over the years.
Mondragon, who has held the top Canadian job since 2008, guided the automaker through some record sales months eventually making the Blue Oval the best selling automaker in Canada for the first time last year.
“This positive marketplace momentum will continue to build as Dianne shares her extensive dealer relations skills, sales background and marketing expertise with the Ford of Canada team,” said Mark Fields, Ford's president of The Americas.
