The automaker says Surette brings to the organization a “wealth of automotive experience.”
“Since joining Kia Canada in 2007, Maxime has demonstrated a high level of commitment and passion to the Kia brand. This commitment has allowed Maxime to contribute to various teams within Kia Canada, including marketing, product planning and most recently as brand strategy supervisor.
”Over the past six years Maxime has demonstrated a profound passion for the Kia brand and we could not be more thrilled to have him join the Public Relations department,” said Robert Staffieri, director of marketing and public relations, Kia Canada Inc.
“His well-rounded knowledge circling both automotive products as well as the industry will serve him well in his new role.” In his new role, Surette will be responsible for all day-to-day public relations functions for Kia Canada Inc., including ongoing media relations.
He will report directly to Jack Sulymka, national public relations and corporate partnerships manager, Kia Canada Inc., and will be based at Kia Canada's Mississauga, Ont., office.
