New distribution centre for Hankook
Hankook Tire Canada opened the doors to its newest Canadian distribution centre last week.
Located in Richmond, B.C., the facility is expected to reduce lead time on product delivery as the result of the company’s shipping policy. Hankook says the new policy includes pre-paid delivery to qualified orders of direct-account customers.
The new facility will also provide dealers with access to the full line of Hankook products.
The new distribution centre is the second expansion in the last two years for Hankook Tire Canada. The Canadian subsidiary for the world’s seventh largest tire manufacturer opened its new Canadian head office in Brampton last Spring.
