OpenRoad Auto Group is now offering customers a unique in-dealership experience with the recent opening of TSUJIRI, an iconic Japanese cafe located inside the new OpenRoad Toyota Richmond at the Richmond Auto Mall.

“I’m a huge fan of TSUJIRI and have been a regular customer at their establishments in Japan for years,” said Christian Chia, CEO of OpenRoad Auto Group. “So when the idea of a cafe came up for our new Toyota dealership, a new TSUJIRI franchise was an exciting fit – not only because of the company’s cultural alignment with the Toyota brand but also because we knew our customers would be excited to have an authentic taste of Japan right here in their community.”

The TSUJIRI brand was founded in 1860 in Kyoto, Japan by Tsuji Riemon.

OpenRoad’s TSUJIRI cafe’s unique location is attracting not only car enthusiasts but local food lovers as well who are eager to enjoy TSUJIRI’s selection of green-tea flavoured Japanese drinks, frappes, soba bar and desserts like the Matcha and Yuzu Rare Cheesecakes.

TSUJIRI has also just unveiled a custom menu of trendy Onigirazu sushi sandwiches, in varieties like Musubi Spam and Egg, Salmon and Fried tofu veggie which are exclusively available at the OpenRoad’s TSUJIRI cafe.
