OpenRoad’s Portfolio Offers Broader Vehicle Subscription Service

Following the success of the initial launch of Portfolio by OpenRoad, the OpenRoad Auto Group announced that it is to expand the application-based program to offer two new subscription options – the Gold Tier and Portfolio on Demand.

“We believe in the future of our car subscription service to meet the growing needs of drivers who are looking for strong options and greater choice,” said Christian Chia, CEO of OpenRoad Auto Group. “We’re pleased to expand Portfolio with an exciting new line up of mid-level luxury cars at a lower price point that will be attractive to more drivers seeking a convenient and flexible experience on the road.”

Since the program’s initial launch in January 2019 Portfolio has become British Columbia’s preferred car subscription service, offering members the flexibility to be in complete control of their vehicle-ownership experience. The iprogram began with a Platinum Tier that provided access to up to three premium luxury vehicles per month, including models like the Porsche Cayenne, Range Rover Sport, Mercedes AMG E 53 Coupe, Jaguar F-Pace S, Audi Q8, Lexus LC 500, and many more. To date, the program has been successful in servicing a broad range of clientele – luxury car enthusiasts, affluent professionals, and business executives – particularly those with client-facing professions.

As of today, Portfolio is expanding its service to include a mid-level line up as part of its new Gold Tier and Portfolio on Demand programs. The new inventory will include access to cars like the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Lexus IS, Mercedes A-Class and others, plus it will give drivers the option to flip up to three cars a month, starting at $1,499 per month or $149/per day. Like the Platinum Tier service, the Gold Tier and Portfolio on Demand will also include comprehensive vehicle insurance and maintenance, plus convenient pickup and delivery through a personal concierge service.

With the launch of the Portfolio Gold Tier and the Portfolio on Demand program, OpenRoad expects the subscription service will appeal to a larger demographic with its lower price point, daily fee option, and larger inventory of luxury vehicles. As with the Platinum Tier, space is limited in the new programs launching today.
