SiriusXM Increases Support For Dealers In Western Canada

SiriusXM has added two new district managers for Western Canada and has restructured its entire field team to include regional managers across Canada to better connect with dealers.
“We are pleased to welcome two new district managers, Amanda Booth and Melissa Sousa, to our team in Western Canada,” said Michael Mazgay, vice-president, automotive remarketing, dealer operations, SiriusXM Canada. “By strengthening our team in the Northern and Southern prairies, and by establishing Regional Managers across Canada, we have all the right people in place to fully support our dealers with a more hands-on approach.”
That approach also includes sponsoring and creating events that matter to dealers in their communities. The company’s goal is to create unique experiences and memorable moments for listeners — and dealers.
Recent SiriusXM sponsored events in Western Canada include:
- A sponsored concert featuring iconic Canadian rock band Platinum Blonde at the Western Canadian Dealer Summit in Banff, AB, in September;
- An entertaining NHL live broadcast event including guest appearances and photo ops at the 2019 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic Viewing Party in Regina, SK in October;
- A Gala After Party at the Manitoba Motor Dealers’ Association 75th anniversary event in Winnipeg, MB, in November. The party included food, drinks, and great music from the DJ at the SiriusXM booth to help create a truly memorable experience; and
- A Grey Cup Viewing Party in Calgary, AB with a late-evening, bar-style vibe to set the mood and create an experience that fit the occasion.
“Our brand is about creating moments for Canadians inside and outside their vehicles,” said Nina Rodrigues, senior manager, OEM marketing, SiriusXM Canada. “We can show our dealers that we value their partnerships, and also bring some fun and energy to their events.”
