TRADER Corporation, Car Media 2.0 Announce Strategic Technology Sharing Arrangement
TRADER Corporation and Car Media 2.0 announced a new strategic partnership and technology sharing agreement, affording TRADER customers access to the Car Media 2.0 New Car Image Library and video solutions.
Automotive retailers advertising their new car inventory on TRADER’s automotive marketplace – autoTRADER.ca – will soon have access to a complete set of new vehicle images. The New Car Image Library will feature professionally produced photos for most major OEM new vehicles, categorized by year, make, model, trim and colour.
“It’s no secret that well merchandised inventory, with quality photos, drive more vehicle listing views and more consumer interest on both the autoTRADER.ca marketplace and our dealer partners’ websites,” said Jill Hadfield, chief product officer at TRADER. “In fact, one of our early adopters using the New Car Image Library saw a 94% increase in visits to their vehicle listings on autoTRADER.ca.”
TRADER will also be replacing their legacy video offering with dynamic, complete video solutions for automotive OEMs and retailers across Canada. It will be powered by Car Vids 2.0, a video platform developed by Car Media 2.0.
