The 25 years of the UCDA were celebrated in a brief ceremony this morning at Manheim Toronto’s Milton auction.

Before the auction started, executive director Bob Beattie addressed the crowd of dealers thanking everyone for the support over the quarter century of work.

“The UCDA is now the largest dealer association in North America thanks to dealers like you,” he said. “We hope to continue to provide the services and value.”

The UCDA is a voluntary, not for profit association of Ontario Motor Vehicle dealers who sell used vehicles to the public. It began in 1984 with a mission to enhance the image of the used vehicle industry by representing the industry, providing educational programs and offering a mediation process for customers and their dealers.

Currently the UCDA has over 4,400 members who are located in more than 500 Ontario municipalities.
