VinFast Canada Announces Battery Subscription Program
VinFast Auto Canada announced its battery subscription program for the VF 8 and VF 9.
The delivery of the vehicles to Canadian consumers is planned to commence in the second half of 2022, with two versions: the Eco and Plus. There will be two battery options for each version with different target range estimates per full charge (WLTP).
VinFast will offer customers two battery subscription plans, which are the Flexible and Fixed, to satisfy their various needs. The Fixed Plan comes with unlimited range, while the Flexible Plan allows users to travel up to 500 km/month and charges an additional fee from the 501st km.
Customers who make a reservation for the VF 8 or VF 9 in 2022 and subscribe to the Fixed plan will be offered a permanent subscription fee for the product’s lifetime. This policy is automatically transferred to the new owner after the vehicle is sold.

VinFast is committed to providing a lifetime battery warranty covering all maintenance and repair costs and will replace the battery for free when charging capacity dips below 70 per cent. VinFast will also be responsible for recycling program to minimize environmental impacts.
