Best September ever for Nissan Canada

Year-to-date sales for Nissan are up 6.3 per cent with 68,984 units sold as of the end of September.

Nissan division sales totaled 7,688 deliveries, up 41.6 per cent with the Nissan Rogue setting a September sales record with 1,526 units sold, up 72.6 per cent.

The Infiniti division reported best-ever September sales with 876 deliveries, an increase of 19.8 per cent over 2012.

The Nissan Division reported sales of 7,688 units, up 41.6 per cent from last year.

The Versa was the second most popular Nissan this month with sales of 1,406 units, an increase of 26 per cent.

Sales of Pathfinder jumped 526.7 per cent year-over-year with 727 units delivered and its strongest sales in over a decade.

Altima and Sentra sales increased 20.7 and 33.2 per cent this month with 1,225 and 988 units sold, respectively.

Nissan NV200 compact cargo van reported its strongest month since joining the line-up this spring.

Infiniti set a record in Canada this September with sales totaling 876 units, up 19.8 per cent over 2012.

Sales of the all-new 2014 Infiniti Q50 sports sedan totaled 313 units contributing to a combined total of 389 deliveries for Q50 and MY13 G models, up 70.6 per cent this month.

Sales of QX60 remained strong with 269 units sold, up 33.2 per cent.

“Both the Nissan and Infiniti line-ups continue to resonate with Canadian consumers. As a result, we have achieved seven consecutive months of over 8,000 units sold and reported our best-ever sales for September,” said Christian Meunier, president, Nissan Canada Inc.
