GM finishes IPO paperwork: report

General Motors Co. has wrapped up the required paperwork for an initial public offering and could file the documents as early as today, news reports say.

Sources familiar with the proceedings confirmed to Reuters News Agency today that GM’s board of directors will determine when to file its IPO with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The news agency reports that the initial prospectus could be worth around $100 million.
