November brought Kia’s all-time yearly sales total to 50,843, the automaker said. But the automaker went on to say in a release November brought more good news: with 4,022 units sold, it was the best on record for Kia Canada; November 2010 sales increased by 16.1 per cent over last November; and 2010 year-to-date sales increased 17 per cent over last year.
Kia Canada continues to out-pace industry sales in 2010.
“Kia continues to be one of the fastest growing automotive companies in Canada. Breaking 50 000 unit sales is clearly indicative of the marked and ongoing improvement in brand acceptance which has been driven by our design led transformation and value,” said Kia Canada V-P/COO Maria Soklis.
The automaker went on to say November highlights included Kia Sorento CUV leading the product lineup with sales of 1,246 and 9241 sales calendar year-to-date.
The Kia Forte lineup, Kia Canada's best-selling vehicles for the month and year-to-date, recorded 1129 total sales in November 2010 and 12,839 sales calendar year-to-date.
The Kia Soul, urban crossover surpassed total November 2009 volume sales with 9386 vehicles sold this November 2010.
