Kia Canada recorded its best ever month in November reporting 4,854 vehicles sold sustaining 20.7 per cent growth versus the previous year.
Additionally, Kia total volume sales exceeded 60,000 annual sales for the first time in its 11-year history with 61, 704 vehicles sold. The company led with the largest percentage increase of 21.4 per cent year-to-date when measuring top ten volume manufacturers in Canada as well as outpacing industry results.
Growth continues to be consistent across the country with all four regions of the country reporting a record November. These strong sales results have also contributed to an industry-best sales streak of 35 consecutive months.
“Our improved brand perception and the strength of our dealer network have been key components of our success in 2011” said Maria Soklis, V-P and COO at Kia Canada. “A record November across Canada further supports that our new model portfolio continues to resonate well with Canadians.”
Sorento continues to provide significant volume with 1,240 vehicles reported nationally. The refreshed Soul reported 766 units in November or a 30.9 per cent increase versus previous year while the Rio achieved a 47.8 per cent increase in sales.
Last month’s strong showing for the automaker also pushed the industry-best sales streak to 35 months.
Heading into December, incentives for Kia will continue to include Winterfest: amounts of a minimum of $500 and up to $10,000 will be awarded towards the purchase of any new Kia vehicle.
At the closure of the program on Jan. 3, a cash grand prize of $25,000 will be given to one lucky participant. Additionally, Kia Canada has very attractive incentive programs in December, starting with zero-per cent financing on all 2012 models.
Moreover, the 2012 Rondo and Sorento are featured with zero-per cent financing for 60 months. Cash savings of up to $5,000 are available on select 2012 models.
Additionally, Kia Canada announces Don’t Pay until Spring payment deferral program on select 2011 and 2012 models.
Current Kia owners are also eligible to receive a $750 loyalty bonus on the purchase of any Kia SUV model, which can also be used in conjunction with all other offers.
Purchasers of the new and award-winning Optima Hybrid are entitled to an exclusive manufacturer-issued $1,000 eco credit and current Kia owners or owners of competitive Hybrid vehicles are eligible to receive up to $1,250 in additional incentives.
Also featured is FlexChoice, an new alternative to conventional automotive lease and loan products.
