Hot on the heels of a record 2010 calendar year, Porsche Cars Canada started 2011 on the right note with total sales of 143 units, up 52 per cent compared to last January.
The new record was led by strong sales of the new Cayenne, which more than doubled January’s sales of the previous model.
Porsche Cars Canada executives point to a “widely-publicized” price reduction campaign they announced at the beginning of the month.
Sales of entry-level Boxster and Cayman sports cars grew during January as well while certified pre-owned sales also hit a new record in January; 40 units sold eclipsed the previous January record of 37, set last year, and marked the 15th straight month of record CPO sales.
