Porsche sales drops 65% last month

In an uncharacteristic performance, Porsche Cars Canada reported October sales of 120 units, down 65 from October 2010’s total of 185.
“Sales of the new Cayenne continued to be constrained by supply,” the automaker said in a release.
Cayman and Panamera sales recorded slight increases.
October’s total brought Porsche’s year-to-date sales to 2,058 in Canada, eclipsing 2010’s record number of 2,036 with two months yet to go in the year.
Certified pre-owned sales remained solid in October 2011, a new monthly record, up 34 per cent from October 2010.
