Subaru says the starting price of its 2015 Impreza will remain at $19,995, though the top trim 2.0i Limited Package with the technology option tops out at over $30,000.

The updated vehicle features new exterior and interior styling, enhanced infotainment systems, more standard features, improved fuel economy and the availability of Subaru's advanced driver assist system, EyeSight, for 2015.

Available in sedan and hatchback variations, the Impreza will again be offered with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, a 5-speed manual transmission and available Lineartronic continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Another new feature for the 2015 model year is the option of a Partial Zero-Emission Vehicle (PZEV) rated 2.0-litre engine. PZEV equipped vehicles produce zero evaporative emissions. Capable of achieving 8.5 L/100 km in the city and 6.4 L/100 km on the highway, the automaker boasts it will be one of the most fuel efficient compact cars in the segment.
